We were seated in a nice window table where we could watch the Knightsbridge world go by and try and guess exactly how much the real estate goes for in this neck of the woods. We were swiftly presented with an amuse bouche from the chef of fish croquettes and herb mayonnaise. Nice and creamy potato with white fish.
The Grey Mullet was a lovely medium sized fish, cooked to perfection as it flaked from it's crispy skin so easily and had a lemon vinigarette very lightly drizzled over it so a really nice piquant citrus zing came with every bite. The octopus tentacles were so unbelieveably soft and didn't need any other accompainment with them. There was then an octopus croquette with the octopus in mousse like texture inside which was a nice extra fishy element to the overall plate.
The hake was breaded in a herb crust and was a nice chunky fillet beautifully cooked. The pickled carrots didn't add anything to the dish and was a strange element. The tomato and sardine ketchup was extremely flavoursome and we both agreed would have been better with a potato element rather than the pickled veg.
